Haute Couture in Haut-Armagnac
Our collectible hauts armagnacs
Our scrupulous selection of Ugni Blanc (vintages & organic) and Baco (organic) grapes are harvested in higher yields in order to give their full aromatic potential. These grapes require higher yields in order to make distillation wines high in total acidity, and low in alcohol and in volatile acidity. The soil is highly calcareous, with a thin layer of clay and careful attention to its water supply. This, combined with our meticulous distillation in a traditional alembic, contributes to the excellence of our Armagnacs. We only offer unaltered and unfiltered single casks vintage Armagnacs for quality and authenticity. The majority of our oak barrels comes from the Tronçais forest in the center of France known for its superior quality, a minority of more recent vintages are aged in Gascon oak aka Black oak. Like in Haute Couture, each bottle is sealed, labeled, dated and numbered by hand, thus paying tribute to the artisanal character of this exceptional nectar.
